This afternoon we had a full session with all participants on what causes conflicts , how to address them and the role of every individual to find solutions. In addition, humanitarian principles and access, targeting of humanitarian assistance and negotiation were also part of the group reflections. Everyone agreed: solidarity, transparency, social cohesion, education and respect are needed to deal effectively with the roots of conflicts. And those roots are deep and include the sense of marginalization and exclusion , discrimination in access to services and support. Everyone was very engaged and within the group we spoke 14 languages, which reflects the diversity of the participants.
